The socks are comfortable. I have a slim ankle as I am 5ft 10” and weigh 148lbs.The style and fit of these sock are great. They do not bunch and do stay in place. I am diabetic and have some neuropathy in my feet. The socks are smooth on the bottom .The colors are great for the fall and very stylish with many shoes. I did receive a compliment on them when I was being fitted with diabetic shoes.I just turned 70 y.o. . I do not put these socks in the dryer as I air dry most clothing that are cotton. These have enough stretch I do not think drying them would change the fit.They are very comfy and fit great! I love the colors. The only thing is that they dye my toenail polish so the first time I took off the maroon pair I thought my toes were bleeding ?I really like these socks and the thickness of them I don't like the fact that they are a little tight around my ankle and I have very small ankles.Just as I expected. Comfortable & stretchy. One of the socks developed a hole 2nd wear but good quality for the price.I think that these are not really warm sox. They're too thin for a cold winter if you plan on being out long. I like them and won't return, but they're not for cold winters.Very comfortable.10/29/20 ***Updating my review for now to say that the customer service is good. They reached out to say they are addressing the issue with the socks not matching the description. I can see they changed it to say "thin" now, which is accurate.These are not thick at all. The colors are nice, but to say they are winter socks is inaccurate. The fit and colors are great, but they would need to be much thicker for winter.Would like to be more of a cotton texture otherwise fit well
