I had previously bought 6 pairs of a different gripper sock. I hated the fact that they were like compression socks and I had lots of wrinkles left on my ankles when I took them off. These are perfect. There is enough elasticity to keep them from falling down but not too much. In addition, the gripper material on the bottoms of my previous socks were much harder rubber than on these meaning I frequently had one to painfully dig into my foot like stepping on a pebble. These are softer but still keep me from slipping. Exactly what I wanted!!!!’My grandmother was recently displaced by the hurricane and was struggling to walk on the wood floors in regular socks. These let her sleep in something she can safely walk in and she says they are warm and cozy!Yes, these are the best fitting I have found so far... the tread on the bottom did not work it's way around my toes as others did. However, I haven't washed them yet, to find out if the shrink. I never put socks in the dryer. Never, ever. I give them a good stretch and hang them out from the toe.ThanksI purchased Large , 6-pairs (6 Bright Solid Colors) for my mom who is a size 9/10. They are beautiful, feel very soft, look well-made, are thick and super grippy. However in all of these pictures I am showing them on my size 7/8 foot. I think they will fit my mom, she has skinny feet and I pulled it as tight as they go to show that it’s about almost an inch higher than my heel. I hope so because she needs grippy socks for rehab and I think these pretty colors will cheer her up. The colors are beautiful: purple, blue, green, teal, orange, and a pink/red (all heather).The part around the calf is very tight, just for the photo shoot I already had a line around my calf after taking it off. My calves are 14 inches so unless you have skinny legs these are going to be tight. You can see in the second picture how tight it is. I was hoping the large would be a little looser. So if I need grippy socks I don’t think these would work for me because the smaller size is probably even tighter.There is a nice super thick pull tab on the back of the sock at the top.I don’t plan on putting these in the dryer, I have a lot of grippy socks and you are never supposed to put them in the dryer it will make the grippy stuff come off.Socks arrived as described and quick! Fit as sized and the grip is good on tile/wooden floors. They are calf high in length! A great buy!Fits well helps her not slip.Like colors , quality and fit.These work great. Comfortable.Nice quality and nice selection of colours. I did find that they just slightly large.Most socks with grips on the bottom will make my feet ache. These socks didn't and were perfect to wear in the hospital after complete knee surgery.
